Hi,

This seems to be the fallout of my decision to link pdksh with automode.o.
It's the age-old problem of lseek on textmode files -- PDksh assumes that
any non-special file is seekable, and text files aren't. I have a quick
fix in the pipeline, but since there is a workaround, I want to see if I
can address some other bugs as well while I'm at it.
