If you've installed ncurses-5.0 or usr-local from
http://cygutils.netpedia.net/, you'll want to uninstall that ncurses
package. Use the RemoveObsoletePackages tool here:
http://cygutils.netpedia.net/V1.1/usr-local/Obsolete.html
Also, if you have any programs that were compiled with that old version
of ncurses, they will look for the terminfo database in
/usr/local/share/terminfo/* -- but you just removed it! So, set
export TERMINFO=/usr/share/terminfo/
and you're all set. (New programs compiled with the new ncurses will
look in /usr/share/terminfo/ automatically)
