I've included 'export TERM=vt100' in /etc/profile (and confirmed with subsequent 'echo $TERM'), but I'm still getting the following error when logging into the OpenVMS system (or when type SET TERM/INQUIRE) %SET-W-NOTSET, error modifying NTY3758: - , unknown terminal type The frustrating thing is that, if I telnet via linux or even QVTerm, OpenVMS recognizes the terminal type without any problem. Termcap looks very similar to the linux system so I'm stumped. Anyone have any ideas? Charles Lewis [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Want to unsubscribe from this list? Send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
