Hi Charles, In general, I've successfully run the configure scripts for a variety of apps, including the cygwin sources on both nt4 and win2k. Can you send the output of configure, what you are configuring, and the file config.log, as well as the usual cygcheck? PS. If you are using the latest autoconf from the gnu cvs tree, you might have problems with an incorrect determination of ac_objext. If you aren't using the cvs autoconf, or aren't using the enable-maintainer-mode option, then this probably doesn't apply. cheers, edward.
