Thanks for your reply, The nt-server is not a domain controller. Also, I now tried it with mkpasswd -d MY_DOMAIN_NAME_HERE > /etc/passwd but i still couldn't log in at all. Is there any log I can check for a more detailed error message than just "login failed."?
