I've tried everything on the win side and am not getting anywhere. I have cygwin loaded on this win2000 box and I was wondering is there a way using a cygwin tool I could query a modem's status. I want to write a daemon that looks for carrier detect and then issues a route statement. Any ideas on how to query a modem's status ?
