I've installed cron at my win NT4.0, SP 5, german.

Cron itself works fine, but eMails send by cron do not arrive in my mailbox.
I assume my problem is that my domain-name is different from my mail-account
name.

I tried several settings in /etc/ssmtp/ssmtp.conf, but none worked.

As user 'strohhaecker' in domain 'ldom02.hueller-hille.com',
my mailbox is on the exchange server lbsvnt4.hueller-hille.com,
and my mailbox-name is bstrohhaecker.

'cat anymail | /usr/sbin/ssmtp [EMAIL PROTECTED]' works,
but shows me the mail's coming from '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'
which should be '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'.

My ssmtp.conf settings are:

root=postmaster
mailhub=lbsvnt4.hueller-hille.com:25
rewriteDomain=hueller-hille.com
hostname=lbwsnt358.hueller-hille.com
#FromLineOverride=YES

What do I miss ?

Kind regards,

Bernd Strohhaecker
