Ok. But is the protocol safe enough? Does it have all the necessary
characteristics? Is it patent-free? I know how to code, but I don't know how
to evaluate a crypto protocol...

Ok, I see from http://www.unicorn.com/pgp/mm-readme.html that it uses
patented Chaum-style blind signatures... that's bad. Or is it? <g>
