Declan, you're an excellent writer, and I think we all owe you a debt of gratitude for
keeping a high profile on cypherpunk issues. How much of your stuff makes it into the
printed version of Wired?
As an anonymous poster alluded to earlier, I believe the ultimate solution is some
form of
improved, fee-based Gnutella or Freenet. I say fee-based only to keep the quality of
service up to professional standards. There are some interesting issues to work out
with
the financial interface between cyberspace and meatspace--one could easily run afoul of
racketeering laws.
Maybe ZKS will come up with something clever. Let's not let those Brands patents go to
waste...
