DEVELOPER NEWS
===============
1.) Palm Reporter Update Now Available
The Palm Reporter is a trace utility for the
Palm OS Emulator. Applications running inside
the Emulator can send real time information to
the Reporter, helping to pinpoint problems and
executing code step-by-step or setting break-
points. To observe traces, an application and
the Reporter should be run at the same time.
The Palm Reporter 1.1 Update has enhanced
filtering capabilities and solves a few minor
problems. Download it at:
http://www.palmos.com/dev/tech/tools/emulator/reporter.zip
2.) Mail Directly to Your Best Prospects
Got a hot new solution to promote? Rent Palm's
list of registered Palm handheld users and send
a targeted, direct mail campaign straight to
your best prospects. Go to
http://www.palmos.com/dev/biz/customers/ to get
started. Members of our Platinum Solutions
Provider program receive a discount on this
great marketing opportunity.
3.) Provider Pavilion Changes
Thank You For Your Solution Provider Profile
Input On May 18, 2000, we implemented a new
Solution Provider Profile in an effort to get
a better picture of our Solution Provider
Members. For developers already a members of
the program, you were asked to complete a series
of questions, which were applicable to the
developer category, selected when joining the
Solution Provider Program. In addition, ALL
the information that was asked was required.
We realize that in many instances, some of the
information required was not applicable to your
development efforts. We have changed this feature
so you can provide ONLY the information that
is applicable to your and your company.
Thank you to everyone who provided feedback.
