Your view may well be this nuanced. However, Tim began this thread
in reply to your very unnuanced Joe Sixpack comment that "I have kids,
and my personal opinion on kiddie porn is minimum penalty of forced
castration for creators of the images, if not death penalty." It is
certainly understandable why such a simple-minded view might be
attacked.
Notwithstanding that, I'd like to join in Tim's examination of your
"nuanced position":

So, let us posit there are two youngsters, ages 10 or so playing
doctor and "touching" each other. Let's also posit that there is
an older child, say 13 or so, spying on the two and perhaps taking
pictures with which to embarrass them. It seems that a reasonable
view of your "nuanced position" as you've outlined it here is that
you would support "forcible castration...if not death penalty" for
the 13 year old.
No doubt there's some other nuance you forgot to mention though.
