In an effort to comply with new federal legislation that helps protect kids on the
Internet, GO.com, part of the GO Network, is proud to announce a new account
validation process. Beginning April 21, 2000, you will need to establish a free GO
Network Family Account to give your child access to interactive features, such as
e-mail, message boards, and chat, available on the GO Network.
A Family Account lets you add up to ten (10) family members and gives you control over
what your child has access to throughout GO.com and the GO Network. Click on the link

Once you’ve set up your Family Account and validated your child’s account, check out
what the GO Network can do for you and your family! Each family member will be able to
use their own Member Name to access many exciting free features such as:
* GO.com MAIL -- Send and receive e-mail, and a special kid-friendly version of
GO.com Mail
* MESSAGE BOARDS -- Post messages on dozens of topics to other members of the GO
Network community
* GO CHAT -- Chat about music, games, sports, and dozens of other topics
* GO INVITE -- Plan and organize parties, trips, and other events online
* GO REMINDERS -- Receive e-mail, sent by a GO Network partner, notifying your
child of upcoming TV shows and events they have selected
If you do not wish to set up your Family Account at this time, simply do nothing. Your
child will continue to have access to all the features he or she enjoys today on
GO.com and the GO Network.
Remember that your child’s GO.com Member Name and Password are always valid at all GO
Network sites, including Disney.com, Family.com, ESPN.com, ABC.com, ABCNews.com, Mr.
Showbiz, and Wall of Sound.
