>So we see things like "Freedom", "Harmless Little Project" -- trying

Small s/w cos (ie. ZKS/HavenCo) or cult movements (ie. FSF/GNU/Linux) do
not have talent and cannot afford to hire good social engineers. Talented
social engineers know where the money is.

Of course that naming is important. Reason and facts will sell crypto
technology to the insignificant portion of users, who all already
know how to use it.

FUD, sex, greed, branding and plain lies will sell it to the rest. It's
just that minds who understand modular arithmetic are not good at it.

Few (religion based) suggestions:

IP anonymizing software - "Providence"
e-cash server outside wto juristiction - "Archangel"
gnutella-like non-anon file sharing s/w - "Communion"

Now, not the whole world is b'washed by christianity, so appropriate
cultural variations must be taken into account. It would be great if a
major religion corporation endorses some of these, to protect the
faithful from the ... heh ... Satan.

If one cannot leverage along these lines, then one must have shitloads of
cash to promulgate new crypto brands.
