There needs to be something... decentral, no admins / keyholders / bdfl's / corps, no power, anon... imagine the blocksize debate being determined therein without blockstream or anyone else... As well as the usual file distribution, IPFS, [self]hosting services, etc therein. All would last much longer than anything involving clearnet... the various "scenes" would benefit to expand beyond clearnet whack a mole.
