Wow. And well, well, well. Perhaps 202 be dey year of slowly dripping
resistance...

from tearing up "close your store orders, let the gubmint pay for your
children's food instead" to "no, I will leave up my video reminding my fellow
police officers to not obey tyrannical orders", and Trump recently tweeting to
"resist" and "save your precious 2nd amendment", 2020 is beginning to look like
the beginnings of a rebuild of human moral standing and opposition to tyranny.
It just a start, but it be a good start.

A Port of Seattle Police Officer has been placed on administrative leave
after refusing to delete a viral video reminding police officers that they
don't have unlimited powers.

"I have seen officers around the country enforcing tyrannical orders; I
was hoping it was a minority of officers, anymore, I am not so sure," said
Officer Greg Anderson, a Special Forces veteran.

Anderson took to Instagram on Tuesday to explain that he will likely be
fired for refusing to remove the video, as it is considered insubordination.

I’ve received tons of questions regarding my termination from the Port
of Seattle Police. So I figured I should explain. I have been placed on
administrative leave (still being paid) pending investigation. I was told by
both the agency and my union that this will result in termination due to it
being an insubordination charge for refusing to take down the video. I’m not
sure what the timeline looks like. I walk un-intimidated into the fray. Thank
you for all the support🙏🏻 #police #liberty #constitution #quarantine

A GoFundMe has been established for Anderson which has already raised
over $250,000 as of this writing, exceeding its original goal of $50,000.

As KTTH's Todd Herman writes: "As this officer fights for his career,
Gov. Jay Inlslee is releasing violent felons who have gone on to commit new
crimes."

.. I wanna remind you [my fellow police officers] that regardless of
where you stand on the Coronavirus,
we don't have the authority to do those things to people,
just because a mayor or a governor tells you otherwise.
Ah, I don't care if it's your Sergeant, or Chief of Police,
we don't get to violate people's constitutional rights, because somebody
in our chain of command, tells us otherwise.
It's -not- how this country works.
      ...
