The first foundation of existence is curvival - food, water and shelter. Whilst you remain dependant, the chip of the beast will be presented as a mere "choice": to eat or not to eat. If you want a plan of action, look to the basics of your life. Not many people wish to engage directly in their own survival - e.g. planting potatoes. For one thing, it is confronting to have to admit dependency. The real choice here is choosing -with whom- to be (to become) co-dependant.
