IMHO this was much less about any 90's era cuckolding than noughties cheerleading for illegal, aggressive war - the " Supreme Crime " according to international law. The hatred for her, for this, was entirely deserved and not confined to American's registered to vote. The internet also had a say in this election as, indeed it did in Brexit.
