People will eventually try repurposing the antenna for other comms projects. And unlike old days of free C-band satcom TV, don't expect to get free internet, the auth part is sure to be crypto keyed, with any simultaneous or roaming use of cloned pubkeys, and unknown new ones, getting shutdown.
