A damaged automated toy crawls out of some wreckage, itd battery-powered
motors on their last legs.

"How are you running your program, when all of civilisation has fallen?"
asks the damaged toy, of the code monkey.

"Civilisation didn't fall. Writing a hello world program doesn't destroy a
civilisation."

The toy looked around it. The factory that built it was a heap of slag.
The seat the code monkey was occupying was a pile of nonfunctionong toys,
just like it.
