This kind of thing happens to me a _lot_. Is it possible for EMP discharges to break a battery? I ask because I also get ghost keystrokes and mysterious freezups, crashes, and power failures in newly acquired devices, and personally think about wireless stuff a lot so it pops into my paranoia.
