I think that in any large Military-Entertainment-Complex the media ( broadly defined ) is half the problem, Recent examples are not hard to find - NYT lies helped fuel the push for a second Vietnam in Asia ( Judy's little tubes of terror ) List founder , Mongo observed more than once that where the 1st amendment was observed no special privilege ( shield laws, etc ) need apply to any journalists ( " Scribblers " Mong called them ) I agree. As an anarchist I want to see the drastic minimization of all technocratic specialist castes - especially in global political economy and religion. By any means necessary. Its been a long time since Watergate and so that raises the inevitable question - what have the media done for us lately? Thankfully - now we have the anarchic net we can treat corpse media ( I was using this term years before Rightards like Bannon seized on it ) as the damage it so patently is and route the Hell around it.
