In generalisation, we tend to take components and move them into central locations for reuse, like how the brain is specialised into lobes.
In networks, we prefer dfecentralisation, like how a victim of localised brain damage can use the rest of their brain to retain their consciousness and identity. Is generalisation centralisation? Depends what borg battles you evolved in?
