The latest git-remote-gitopia that uses the arweave chain appears to be at https://github.com/gitopia/git-remote-gitopia-mvp .
I looked a little into the new gitopia-specific testnet, but given they haven't gone to mainnet and appear to be businessy i didn't want to possibly further endanger their funding by relying on their prototype software. The git-remote-gitopia-mvp project has two open pull requests by its creator, i believe to compact objects better, and to remove the automated donation on uploads. I'm sorting out trying it out. It installs many javascript libraries. Each one I imagine being delicate cobwebs holding up something fragile that holds up something else that is fragile, in a great palace of delicate cobwebs. Like secure scuttlebutt.
