U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham’s recent calls for the assassination of Putin are fun. Graham’s right– it would fix a lot of problems, including likely concluding the war in Ukraine. So, I’m not saying Putin is not a dangerous madman who should be stopped, only that when one looks at it objectively, most presidents and prime ministers are dangerous madmen, as are most C.E.O.s and most landlords. All of these power-hungry freaks cause problems, and the same simple fix would address every case as cleanly. Graham’s logic can, in fact, be fairly applied to himself.
