what kind of blockchains have you run into?

i was a little confused when i posted the main thing, but basically
it's possible to configure a blockchain (via software development) to
meet personal requirements of various cryptographic bounds, including
anonymity and privacy. that doesn't mean that anybody _does_ that.

it's kinda like money, it makes it work super well and then somebody
paves over your garden and murders your family
