bugs are great.

i've always loved bugs.

in software development, we attend to the bugs and take care of them.
we protect them from system problems that spew them all over people's
bank accounts, like when a plague of locusts eats all your crops.

when a plague of locusts eats all your crops, it means that whoever
wrote the software for your ecosystem and farming culture didn't
address something. population booms always result in crashes! and
booms and crashes are not efficient for evolution. lots of wasted
entropy reversal.
