Zombie Engineer sets their cup down. Tiny carbon fractals occasionally spurt at the edge, then disappear in unique bursts of light which send nearby matter into chaotic motion each burst. Zombie Engineer reaches toward their coffee cup. Zombie Engineer: “A couple nation states are cyberbattling in the copy machine again. It keeps printing out complex QR codes that disrupt its own firmware when one drifts in front of the flatbed scanner head.”
