They are confused, on the hillside. They were brought here because people thought they deserved a nicer environment than being meshed with computers that vivisected their friends, as augmenting compute and motility; but they don't really know what a hillside is. When they see the bright sun, they figure it is a bright light held by a robot for taking good photographs of organ cross sections.
