The people he killed, burgled, raped, and burned the buildings of,
were our family, friends, doctors, and leaders.
He demanded _we_ take the blame for doing these things,
for destroying the people and things we love and need.
Out of terror, most have done this,
and it can be very hard to remember that we have not.
