“They’ve got a wealth of personal health data through Apple Watch,” Ben Wood, an analyst at the tech analytics firm CCS, told Forbes. “If they join some of the dots together [Apple] can become a very competitive health insurance player.” These sort of predictions, like the data wrung from a body, are endless and unreliable. But a good rule of thumb: when evangelists start envisioning the same future that skeptics fret over, take note.
