when i left this building and went out into the city it seemed the time might have been displayed accurately again. then when i came back it seems it is 3 hours fast again.
i was getting my times all wrong from this, so i went into settings and my auto-detected timezone was cupertino. i disabled autodetection and manually set it correctly and now i can pretend my world is consistent again, which is very helpful for meeting the small goals of life like scheduling appointments.
