maybe a summary is, that if i want to be surrounded by very capable people, i’m basically going to have to pretend i am one myself convincingly, that doesn’t need to mean lying. it just means remembering that i am doing that.
i’d be doing it so much that it becomes true from the influence back. “i am a very capable person, and i need to make this clear.”
