the reason is all the millions of years of research that trillions of free beings spent their lives on coming up with the skills and modes of interaction this was really spent on the specific phases so, we don't flap wings through dirt, we don't dig through air, etc etc etc if you want to go through air, come up with a flying approach!! much more useful. many others working on / have worked on / will wokr on. super resonant and meaningful! not meaningful to dig thru air :S sorry about this !!!
