Google LLC urged a California federal judge Tuesday to throw out a proposed
class action alleging the tech giant's "human-like" customer-service
product using generative text illegally eavesdrops on conversations without
users' consent, arguing that the product is merely a "fancy tape recorder"
that doesn't involve humans eavesdropping.
