as the years passed, these staring eyes were augmented with surveillance AI watching the countries of the world, and the biological staring eyes slowly became a little outmoded. as the surveillance AI technology was resold to various factions, the degrees of power and harm became ridiculous, private tech became outdone by public tech, and eventually the only groups that survived the mind control wars were those that did not actually use the outmoded “eyes of traffick boss” AI. now, traffick boss is physically and psychologically blind from wild ai wars, but a giant cardboard statues of his gaze is erected near where he stumbles around in confusion, for all to remember …
