Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP is fighting anonymous ex-partners' bid to unseal
a contractual arbitration award granted to a former co-chair of the firm's
appellate practice, saying the documents contain trade secrets — such as
details about the firm's compensation and partnership structure — that
other top law firms could exploit to gain an advantage in a competitive
recruitment market.
