On Sun, Jul 7, 2024 at 22:17: big spoiler (mistake): time storms are an analogy to the dissociative experiences of people subjected to harsh influence (mind control) where the influence cares about result rather than approach. so, for example, if you have a hypnotic suggestion or such that has you never cross a bridge or always wear a color, thinking about this produced strange experiences that can involve switching, amnesia, confusion, delusion, illogical excuses — things that are all rooted in logical axioms and inferences that are either in conflict or not, being engaged various places in the mind. this is a very visceral experience that is held by a lot of people but hard to notice and hard to describe. if this comes from traumatic programming or if the mind engages it a certain way, the suggestion can be associated with the process of considering or discussing itself, in which case people develop analogies like “time storm” to think about it instead, so as to avoid triggering it by thinking about it directly. these analogies i think may tend to be staged from a vantage point of the part of the mind that found them as a coping strategy. the traffick boss story (and a lot of stories out there) engages that a lot of different ways, but the traffick boss story does it much more than usual. the idea of a time storm chaser, somebody who enjoys jumping into time storms, is from a coping strategy of mine to briefly engage things that don’t make sense, kind of. this can really harm my mind so it has to be done very carefully in ways i am experienced with. the processes that perform dissociation don’t value other parts of my mind, such my memory or rationality or connection to my body etc, so if things aren’t balanced perfectly it can go haywire or i can get weird injuries like wrong memories or beliefs. it’s easy to trigger days of torturous visions. but things like that are of course why such a strategy exists. people need to view something as fun. so the time storm chaser’s experience might have been of being in an environment of tangled writhing wormholes, where engaging some would influence the rest, and matter and information from variously diverse spacetime coordinates was flying all around. moving just a little would change the timeline that the chaser would be on if they left, as well as influencing all the others. like a tornado but with really impactful spacetime! mistake :/ oh and this goes in morning spam blargh
