A California federal judge refused Friday to toss a proposed class action
alleging Peloton uses third-party software Drift to secretly eavesdrop on
its website users' communications through its chat box function, ruling
that the complaint plausibly alleges Drift functions as a third-party
eavesdropper and uses intercepted communications to train
artificial-intelligence tools.
