The Federal Trade Commission has issued orders to eight companies —
including Mastercard, Chase, Accenture and McKinsey & Co. — seeking more
information about the potential impact their practices of "surveillance
pricing" products and services have on privacy, competition and consumer
protection, the FTC said Tuesday.
