The U.S. Department of Justice said Wednesday that Boeing's plea agreement
is the best possible criminal resolution that holds the company accountable
for defrauding regulators about the 737 Max 8's development, rejecting
claims from crash victims' families that the "morally reprehensible" deal
lets Boeing skirt culpability.
