An orthopedic surgeon urged the Georgia Supreme Court on Tuesday to revive
his case against a defense attorney who allegedly tarnished the surgeon's
reputation during settlement talks with his attorneys for his former
patients, arguing his appellate defeat last year flew in the face of 160
years of Georgia defamation law.
