A broad coalition of bank and fintech trade groups has called for the
Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. to back off from a recently proposed revamp
of its rules on "hot money," or brokered deposits, arguing the plan was put
forward "without sufficient or transparent data or robust policy rationale."
