The onetime deputy secretary of the Interior, Tommy Beaudreau, who moved
into private practice last year and now co-leads WilmerHale's energy
practice, violated government ethics laws by failing to recuse himself from
drilling-related matters while knowingly holding petroleum stocks,
according to an internal watchdog's ethics report released Tuesday.
