Biotechnology company Illumina Inc. asked a New Jersey federal court
Tuesday to order a former graduate student to pay $200,000 in liquidated
damages for allegedly failing to respond to attempts to finalize a
settlement to his claims that attorneys from Latham & Watkins LLP and Akin
Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP manipulated a patent case to steal his
intellectual property.
