A Washington federal judge partly sided with Microsoft on Tuesday in a case
accusing a Canadian firm and its overseas director of peddling stolen
software product keys to unsuspecting customers online, eliminating one of
the defendants' key defenses while rejecting the tech giant's bid for
discovery sanctions.
