An Illinois federal judge on Friday tossed a defamation suit against the
Geragos & Geragos attorney who defended actor Jussie Smollett against
charges that he filed a false police report on a staged hate crime, saying
that a "whiteface statement" she made about Smollett's attackers on
national television was substantially true.
