Thuggery has nothing to do with the pharmaceutical industry.
Thuggery is violence.  (Literally, mugger, from Hindi, AFAIK)

Unless you've signed a security clearance, or NDA, or other
contract, anything you know is yours.  Local treasury laws irrelevent.
