Interesting. This might work to keep your OTP encrypted in case
you lose the disk. Heh. Lets see the queen beat the password
out of you for a disk of *encrypted noise*. (Actually if she
has captured ciphertext she *can* verify that you gave the correct
passphrase because the decrypted noise will decrypt the captured
ciphertext.)
Sandpaper, thermite, microwaves, grinders, food processors are all nice but
are all-or-nothing. Wiping is not destruction. Wiping is dealing with
physical hysteresis and non-concentric tracking.
