Ah, but this is to protect the chiiiilllldren.

_Trying_ to tie this back to cypherpunks, one can be jailed for
contempt of court for refusing to decrypt computer files, even if he
is not a suspect or a defendant. Contempt isn't the same as refusing
to cooperate in an investigation, but that's the best tie-in I could
come up with after a bad night.
