Bear in mind, that earning *plonks* now and then helps keep the quality of the discourse high, and avoids the chilling effect of moderation and censorship and obedience enforcement by plonkers who may enjoy a bit too much comforting exchanges and whacking misbehavers. Whacking, note, not killing -- that's a different kind of sheep herding and culling. An admirable quality of excellent discourse is to not need minders, rather to allow minds to do their weirdnesses in full bore challenge from unfetteredness. Sure discord and bitching breaks out about the loudmouths and longwinds, but mostly from those suffering the same closedness of desire for a perfectly focussed discourse, without noise, pure signal, exact fine-tuned control of the dials to not miss a single emission of Oracleness. And, to leave no emission unchallenged, game theory is always rigged to win.
